<br />DES:d..;'- 06/18/90 (004/26) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has caused to be made and filed <br />with the City Clerk a report, in writing, setting forth a budget, <br />the formula for the annual assessment levy, a description of each <br />lot or parcel of property to be assessed and the amount of <br />assessment to be levied against each lot or parcel of property in <br />accordance with said formula; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered said report and <br />each and every part thereof, and finds that each and every part <br />of said report is sufficient, and that neither said report, nor <br />any part thereof requires or should be modified in any respect; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby determines that the costs and <br />expenses of the maintenance and operation of the levees, storm <br />drain system improvements, water facilities, and sanitary sewer <br />facilities and appurtenances pertaining thereto within the <br />District as more particularly described in Resolution No. 9859, <br />cannot be appropriately financed pursuant to Chapter 26 of Part 3 <br />of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, and that this <br />resolution is therefore adopted and proceedings are being taken <br />pursuant to Article 3 of Ordinance No. 1895 of the City of <br />Redwood City to provide for an alternative method of the levy of <br />benefit assessments for said purpose. <br />2. This Council hereby determines that it is the intent of <br />this Council to order that the costs and expenses of maintaining <br />and operating said public improvements within the District, <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />11324 <br />
