<br />DES:d-i', n6/18/90 (004/26) <br /> <br />5. Monday, the 9th day of July, 1990, at the hour of 7:30 <br /> <br />o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, <br /> <br /> <br />at the regular meeting place of this Council, in the Chambers of <br /> <br /> <br />the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Justice and Records, 401 <br /> <br /> <br />Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, are the date, time and <br /> <br />place hereby fixed for hearing by this Council on any and all <br /> <br /> <br />protests in relation to said benefit assessments and said budget, <br /> <br />at which hearing this Council shall examine said report and hear <br /> <br />all persons interested therein. <br /> <br /> <br />Any interested owner objecting to the amount of the <br /> <br /> <br />assessment on any lot or parcel of property owned by him or her <br /> <br />may file with the City Clerk at or before the hour fixed for <br /> <br /> <br />hearing a protest, in writing, signed by him or her, describing <br /> <br />the lot or parcel of property owned by him or her so that it may <br /> <br />be identified, and stating the grounds of his or her protest, and <br /> <br /> <br />said person may appear at said hearing and be heard with regard <br /> <br />thereto. <br /> <br /> <br />6. The City Clerk shall be, and is hereby, authorized and <br /> <br /> <br />directed to give notice of said hearing by causing a copy of a <br /> <br />"Notice of Hearing" to be: (i) mailed, postage prepaid, to the <br /> <br />owners of any lot or parcel of property subject to a benefit <br /> <br />assessment to pay said costs of maintenance and operation, (ii) <br /> <br /> <br />published once in the Redwood City Almanac, a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation in this City, and (iii) posted on or near <br /> <br /> <br />the Council chamber door or any bulletin board in or adjacent to <br /> <br /> <br />the City Hall. Said mailing, publication and posting shall be <br /> <br /> <br />completed not less than ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for <br /> <br />such hearing. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />11324 <br /> <br />4 <br />
