DES:d-i', n6/18/90 (004/26) 5. Monday, the 9th day of July, 1990, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the regular meeting place of this Council, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Justice and Records, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, are the date, time and place hereby fixed for hearing by this Council on any and all protests in relation to said benefit assessments and said budget, at which hearing this Council shall examine said report and hear all persons interested therein. Any interested owner objecting to the amount of the assessment on any lot or parcel of property owned by him or her may file with the City Clerk at or before the hour fixed for hearing a protest, in writing, signed by him or her, describing the lot or parcel of property owned by him or her so that it may be identified, and stating the grounds of his or her protest, and said person may appear at said hearing and be heard with regard thereto. 6. The City Clerk shall be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to give notice of said hearing by causing a copy of a "Notice of Hearing" to be: (i) mailed, postage prepaid, to the owners of any lot or parcel of property subject to a benefit assessment to pay said costs of maintenance and operation, (ii) published once in the Redwood City Almanac, a newspaper of general circulation in this City, and (iii) posted on or near the Council chamber door or any bulletin board in or adjacent to the City Hall. Said mailing, publication and posting shall be completed not less than ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for such hearing. * * * 11324 4
