�U a,(� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2005- <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE <br /> FIRST AMENDED AND RESTATED JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE SOUTH BAYSIDE WASTE MANAGEMENT <br /> AUTHORITY <br /> WHEREAS, the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA) for the South <br /> Bayside Waste Management Authority (SBWMA) was entered into on December 9, <br /> 1999; and <br /> WHEREAS, the member agencies amended the JPA on June 4, 2002, to change <br /> the definition of "Fiscal Year"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the SBWMA Board recommends member agencies approve the <br /> First Amended and Restated Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement to; establish the <br /> position of Executive Director; include items that require member agency approval; <br /> clarify member agency staff positions for Board membership; and to have the Board <br /> annually select the Chair. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council agrees to approve <br /> the First Amended and Restated Joint Powers Agreement for the South Bayside Waste <br /> Management Authority. <br /> * * * <br /> Atty/Reso.1581 <br /> 120805 <br />
