PWS Director Ingram provided binders that included <br /> notes and handout materials from the public comment meeting, Appendix <br /> A of the Draft Plan that contains notes from the community roundtable <br /> meetings conducted in September, stating that those documents give a <br /> sense of what the community had to say about what is important to them in <br /> relation to water. Additional documents were provided in the binder with <br /> more to follow. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Information only — No Council action requested. <br /> 7. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of <br /> City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br /> Priority Focus Bulletin No. 44-2005. Council may direct staff to act on positions <br /> taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in <br /> City Clerk's Department.) <br /> B. Mayor Pierce — announced that the Bay Area Central Valley High-speed <br /> Rail Train EIR/EIS scoping meeting for the additional program is set to be held in <br /> Modesto and Suisun City. The website contains information: <br /> www.cahighspeedrail.ca.gov.
