� f i <br /> REPOR <br /> T <br /> To the Honorabl:e Mayor and City Council <br /> From the Cit Mana er <br /> December 19, 2005 <br /> Subject <br /> Annexation to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District <br /> Recommendation <br /> Adopt a resolution approving the sewer annexation of Assessor's Parcel No. 058-271- <br /> 040 (750 Hillcrest Drive) to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District, subject to the <br /> conditions that: (1) a sewer connection fee of $550.00 per connection is paid to the City; <br /> and (2) that the property owner sign an annexation agreement with the City consenting <br /> to future annexation of the property to Redwood City. <br /> Background <br /> Pursuant to the Redwood City/Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District Agreement dated, <br /> March 1�, 1958, the County of San Mateo and the property owner of APN-058-271-040 <br /> (location map attached) has requested permission from the City to annex this property to <br /> the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District. The information of the property owners and <br /> their property is as follows: <br /> Name Assessor's Parcel No. <br /> George and Kay Kartsioukas 058-271-040 <br /> The application was submitted by San Mateo County, and has been reviewed by the <br /> City's Engineering and Construction. The purpose of this application is to provide this <br /> property with sanitary sewer service from the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District. <br /> The sewer capacity needed to service this property is part of the 0.5 million gallons per <br /> day allocated to the County, in accordance with the Emerald Lake Heights Capacity <br /> Agreement with the City of Redwood City dated August 19, 1980. <br /> A complete copy of the Agreement is available for review in the City Clerk's office. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
