Summary of Findings Relating to the Alternatives <br />For all the foregoing reasons, the City Council has determined to approve the proposed <br />project instead of one of the alternatives. <br />Findings Regarding Adequacy of Range of Alternatives <br />The City Council finds that the range of alternative evaluated in the FEIR reflects a <br />reasonable attempt to identify and evaluate various types of alternatives that would <br />potentially be capable of reducing the proposed project's environmental effects while <br />accomplishing most, but not all, of the project objectives. The City Council finds that the <br />alternatives analysis is sufficient to inform the City Council and the public regarding the <br />tradeoffs between the degree to which alternatives to the proposed project could reduce <br />environmental impacts and the corresponding degree to which the alternatives would hinder <br />the City's ability to achieve the Project Objectives. <br />ATTY/RESO.0035/CC RESO CERTIFYING FINAL EIR —1548 MAPLE RESO.
