EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES & FEE SCHEDULE On an as needed basis, the City will contact the Consultant with a task order that identifies where, when and what type of traffic count is needed. The cost for each task order will be determined according to the fee schedule outlined below. The cumulative cost of all task orders during the contract term will not exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars. Fee Schedule Type of Count Unit Price Cost Directional 3- day speed, volume $140 count 24 hour intersection turning $840 movement count 2 hour intersection turning movement count, $295 AM and PM peaks Schedule Upon receipt of the task order, the consultant will schedule the work as soon as practical, but no later than two weeks from the date of the request. In unusual circumstances the City may consider deviations from this timeframe. Data shall be transmitted to the City as soon as possible or within 7 days of collection, after having been reviewed by the Consultant for quality control purposes. All counts shall be collected on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday except holidays and when schools are on break (unless specifically directed otherwise). No counts will be collected during adverse weather conditions. Data Standards Directional 3 -day speed and volume counts: • Include specific location, nearest address and/or landmark • Data shall: o Be presented in hour intervals and by speed bin o Include daily and 3 -day totals o Include the 50%, 85% speeds and 10 mph pace o Identify the AM and PM peak hours Turning movement counts: • Include specific location, nearest address and/or landmark • Conducted using video • 2 -hour AM peak period (7:00 — 9:00 AM) REV: 04-05-18 PR Page 9 of 10 ATTY/AGR.2018.074/Traffic Data Service
