REG:yc:5/11/64-7 <br />e' <br />280 <br />RE S GLUT I ON lQ O. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER PIPE <br />LINES ACROSS SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RIGHTS <br />OF WAY <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Redwood City to <br />install and maintain water pipe line crossings in the following <br />locations: <br />(1) in the vicinity of the Texaco Plant in the City of <br />Redwood City, <br />(2) in the vicinity of Veterans Boulevard in the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, there have been submitted to this Council agree- <br />ments and drawings prepared by Southern Pacific Company concerning <br />installation, maintenance and use of said water pipe lines; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br />signify its approval thereof and to authorize the execution thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That certain agreement covering the installation of a <br />six inch water line across tracks at Redwood Harbor, that certain <br />agreement covering the installation of a 12-dnch water pipe line <br />crossing under tracks at Redwood Harbor, and those certain <br />drawings incorporated therein, which agreements and drawings <br />are on file in the office of the City Clerk and to which refer- <br />ence is made for full particulars, are hereby approved. <br />2. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br />are hereby authorized to execute said agreements. <br />3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare certified <br />copies of this resolution for transmittal to the Southern Pacific <br />Company. <br />
