improvements described and referred to in this resolution, <br />without further compliance with the Special Assessment, Investi- <br />gation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931. <br />(6) Said Council does hereby adopt and establish as the <br />official grades for said work the grades and elevations to be <br />shown upon such plans, profiles and detailed drawings. <br />(7) There is to be excepted from the work above described <br />any of such work already done to line and grade and marked <br />accepted or shown not to be done on said plans, profiles and <br />detailed drawings. <br />(8) Notice is hereby given of the fact that in many cases <br />said work and improvement will bring the finished surface of <br />the proposed streets to a grade different from the surface of <br />such streets as they now exist and that to said extent said <br />grades are hereby changed and that said work will be done to <br />said changed grades. <br />(9) Except as herein otherwise provided for the issuance <br />of bonds, all of said proceedings will be had pursuant to the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, as amended, and Ordinance No. <br />515 of said City, as amended. <br />(10) The Clerk of Redwood City shall give notice of the <br />adoption of this resolution by publishing a Notice of Proposed <br />Local Improvement once in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily <br />newspaper published, printed and circulated in said City, and <br />by posting same on or near the Council Chamber door of said <br />Council, said posting and publication to be completed at lease <br />ten (10) days prior to the date of said hearing. <br />(11) If any surplus shall remain in the improvement fund <br />-4- <br />
