RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO, INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY; DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME "OAK KNOLL ANNEXATION NO. 1"; GIVING ITS REASONS FOR DESIRING SAID ANNEXATION; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS; AND, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission and the Boundary Commission of the County of San Mateo, California, a written proposal to annex to the City of Redwood City all that territory which is hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said Council has received evidence showing, that, and finds that, said Local Agency Formation Commission and the Boundary Commission have prepared, or caused to be prepared, reports to said Council upon said annexation proposal, all as required by law, and that said Commissions have approved said proposed annexation; and WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing and finds: (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and (2) That less than 12 registered voters presently reside within said territory and that said territory is therefore uninhabited;
