REG:yc:4/16/64-7 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N 0. <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF MARINE HARBOR <br />CLUB HOUSE FACILITIES TO SEQUOIA YACHT CLUB <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No. 4247, adopted <br />March 23, 1964, bids were called for the proposed supplementary <br />lease of the Marine Harbor club house facilities, Redwood City, <br />California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call one bid was received from <br />the Sequoia Yacht Club for an annual rental of Eighty -Five Dollars <br />($85.00) for a term of 29 years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Sequoia Yacht Club is the highest responsible <br />bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that it is in the best interest <br />of the City of Redwood City to award said bid to the Sequoia <br />Yacht Club; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Sequoia Yacht Club, in the amount of Eighty - <br />Five Dollars ($85.00) per year for a term of 29 years for the <br />supplementary lease of the premises described in the supplementary <br />lease agreement, which lease agreement was approved by the above <br />mentioned Resolution No. 4247, is hereby accepted and determined <br />to be the highest responsible bid, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the supplementary lease <br />agreement, entitled "Supplementary Lease Agreement - Marine <br />Harbor Club House Facilities," for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />2. This resolution shall not become effective unless and <br />until the action provided for herein is approved by the Division <br />of Small Craft Harbors of the State of California. <br />
