REG:yc:4/20/64-7 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. � <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 14, 1964 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />Resolution No. 4218, duly passed and adopted on February 24, <br />1964, designated the precincts and polling places and appointed <br />the members of the precinct boards for the general election to <br />be held in said City of Redwood City on April 14, 1964, as <br />required by law, for the objects and purposes of electing the <br />following municipal officers of said City of Redwood City: <br />Four (4) Councilmen for the full term of <br />four (4) years each, and <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on <br />Tuesday, April 14, 1964, in accordance with law, and the votes <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascer- <br />tained, determined and declared in all respects as required by <br />law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Redwood City, as follows: <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, <br />and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the <br />minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said <br />election. <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at <br />said general municipal election was 7,767 votes. That three <br />ballots were spoiled and not counted. <br />
