engineers, representing the owner of all the land in said <br />proposed district, which said general plans and reports and <br />boundary description and map have been reviewed by the City <br />Engineer and City Manager who have reported to the Council <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined and hereby <br />finds that the public interest and convenience require all of <br />said five projects in said proposed district; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Redwood City as follows: <br />1. The public interest and convenience require that <br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 (hereinafter <br />called the "proposed district"), the boundaries of which are <br />hereinafter described, be formed (a) to acquire, construct, <br />improve, maintain and operate the five projects and each of <br />them hereinafter described and (b) to provide for the costs <br />and expenses of said projects and each of them; and that the <br />public interest and convenience require said projects and each <br />of them in the proposed district. <br />2. A general description of said projects and each <br />of them is as follows: <br />A. Reclamation and Drainage Proiect comprising <br />(a) preparation works, including cleaning out of depressions <br />and sloughs in areas to be filled and disposition of unsuitable <br />materials; excavation of ponding basins and waterways; excava- <br />tion, grading, preparation and leveling with on-site material <br />of surface of areas to be filled; and excavation of existing <br />waterways and use of excavated material as fill in specified <br />areas or disposition of same if unsuitable; (b) levee works, <br />2 <br />
