CES:mgl (05/71/90) (052/27) Ot'\IGiNAL RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11296 JUN - 4 1990 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND RENOVATION OF A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM IN THE REDWOOD CITY OLD MAIN LIBRARY BUILDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND NEC BUSINESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS (WEST), INC. WHEREAS, City requires the performance of certain professional services more specifically described as the installation and renovation of the communication system in the Redwood City Old Main Library Building; and WHEREAS, NEC Business Communication System (West), Inc., represents that it is qualified to furnish such services; and WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this Council an agreement for the furnishing of such services by NEC Business Communication Systems (West), Inc., and this Council desires to approve and authorize its execution for and on behalf of the City; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood Ci ty and NEC Business Communication Systems (West), Inc., of Pleasanton, California, entitled "Agreement - for Renovation of the Communication System in Redwood City's Old Main Library Building" (form dated OS/23/90), a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby I made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Ci ty Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * *
