Biological Resources (Monarch Butterfly) – Mitigation Measure #10: <br />If construction were to take place during the fall and winter migration <br />period of the Monarch butterfly, the site shall have a pre- construction <br />survey for Monarch butterflies that could utilize the eucalyptus trees on <br />site. If Monarch butterflies are detected, the CDFG shall be <br />contacted to determine appropriate mitigation measures. <br />[COA][PLANNING] <br /> <br />k. Cultural Resources (Discovery of Cultural Resources) – Mitigation <br />Measure #11: The City requires that if cultural resources are <br />encountered during excavation or site preparation, such work shall be <br />halted immediately in the area of discovery and the project sponsor <br />shall immediately notify the Community Development Director of the <br />discovery. The project sponsor shall be required to retain the services <br />of a qualified archaeologist for the purpose of evaluating, recording, <br />protecting, or curating the discovery as appropriate. The archaeologist <br />shall be required to submit a Cultural Resources Management Plan, per <br />City requirements, to the Community Development Director for review <br />and approval that outlines the findings and mitigation methods of <br />curation and/or protection of the resources. Disposition of Native <br />American remains shall comply with CEQA Guidelines Section <br />15064.5(e). [COA][PLANNING] <br /> <br />l. Geology and Soils (Geotechnical Studies) – Mitigation Measure <br />#12: Site-specific geotechnical studies shall be conducted for all new <br />developments within the Precise Plan area to provide design-level <br />geotechnical recommendations for site grading, building foundation <br />types, and potential geologic hazards. These design-level <br />recommendations shall be incorporated into projects and approved by <br />the City Engineer. [COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> <br />m.
