NMPP Key Development Goals <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Downtown-to-Bayfront Link: Creates a link between the Downtown and <br />Redwood Creek with pedestrian-orientation, widened walks, lighting, and <br />other amenities. <br /> <br />Density and the Role of Infill Development: Allows higher densities to <br />address housing needs and capitalize on nearby commercial businesses, <br />transit, and Highway 101. <br /> <br />Redwood Creek Open Space and Trail: Requires new development to <br />incorporate a creek side trail, and public through-access from Main Street to <br />the trail. <br /> <br />Architectural Form and Character: Requires new development to <br />complement the buildings in the Downtown, Bayfront areas, and North Main <br />Street Precise Plan area.
