Appeal <br /> <br />-The soils report that was referenced <br />in the appeal was based on <br />conceptual plans prepared in 2016, <br />before FEMA updated their FIRM <br />Maps, requiring above-grade parking. <br /> <br />-Conceptual plans have since been <br />revised, along with updating the soils <br />report, to reflect the current design <br />with 2 levels of parking above-grade. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Soil Export and Substantial Grading: <br />-The updated soils report prepared by Earth <br />Systems details the following: <br />-Excavation of up to 15 ft. will not be <br />required <br />-The report recommends a program of <br />excavation and recompaction of a <br />minimum of 24 inches <br />-The report suggests the use of Drilled <br />Displacement Piles connected directly <br />to the structural floor slab <br /> <br />Groundwater: <br />- Dewatering measures will be taken if <br />determined necessary <br /> <br />
