LL2-8-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />TELESCOPIC AERIAL LIFT: AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) Telescopic Aerial Lift; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, three (3) bids <br /> <br />were received and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service Manufacturing Company, of San Lorenzo, CA., <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the desire and <br /> <br />intention of this Council to award said bid to Service <br /> <br />Manufacturing Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Service Manufacturing Company, of San <br /> <br />Lorenzo, California, for the sale of one (1) Telescopic Aerial <br /> <br />Lift at a total price of Thirty-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-Five <br /> <br />and No/I00 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($32,885.00) , <br /> <br />computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal, dated April 16, 1990, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for sale of one (1) Telescopic <br /> <br />Aerial Lift to the City. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said truck in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which is presently on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />
