MAY 1 4 1990 CES:djrn "'5/09/90 (045/27) ---------- RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 11 ~ 84 OHIGUJAL RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR LIBRARY SERVICES AT THE FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO WHEREAS, City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), undertook to establish a facili ty known as the Fair Oaks Community Center, (hereinafter referred to as "Center"), which facility provides various services, including community recreation and library facilities, to that area within and adjacent to City known as the Fair Oaks Target Area, (hereinafter referred to as "Target Area"); and WHEREAS, City has requested and the County of San Mateo, a political subdivision of the State of California, ("County"), is willing to contribute funds toward the provision of library services at Center, in recognition of the use the library at Center by residents of the unincorporated area within the Target Area; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, entitled "Agreement Between County of San Mateo and City of Redwood City For Library Services At Fair Oaks Community Center" a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manger is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * *
