<br />CES:djrn 05/09/90 (046/27) <br />MAY .l .J 1990 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.11 283 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF FAIR OAKS <br />COMMUNITY CENTER BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br /> <br />the State of California, ("City"), undertook to establish a <br /> <br />facili ty known as the Fair Oaks Corrununi ty Center, (hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as "Center"), which facility provides various <br /> <br />services, including corrununity recreation and library facilities, <br /> <br />to that area within and adjacent to City known as the Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Target Area, (hereinafter referred to as "Target Area"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has requested and the County of San Mateo, a <br /> <br />political subdivision of the State of California, ("County"), is <br /> <br />willing to contribute funds toward the operation and maintenance <br /> <br />of Center, in recognition of the use Center by residents of the <br /> <br />unincorporated area within the Target Area; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />Between County of San Mateo and City for Operation and <br /> <br />Maintenance of Fair Oaks Corrununi ty Center" a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manger is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br />
