.�. . _ . _. _ , <br /> EXHIBIT "B" <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> OPTIONAL ALLOWANCES PROCEDURE <br /> If the City requires any Optional Allowances and the Consultant desires to render such services, <br /> the following procedure for authorization and payment shall be followed. <br /> 1. City's designated Project Manager shall provide a written description of work to be <br /> performed. <br /> 2. Consultant shall provide a written price proposal for work, including forecast of man-hours <br /> for each individual working on the job, total cost, and schedule of perFormance. <br /> 3. City and Consultant shall agree upon one of the following methods of compensation for the <br /> Optional Allowances: <br /> a. A negotiated and pre-agreed lump sum; or <br /> b. A time and material basis according to the schedule of hourly rates set forth in Exhibit <br /> «A„ <br /> 4. Following agreement on scope, method of compensation, and schedule of performance, City <br /> Engineer shall provide written acceptance of the proposal consistent with the City's <br /> Purchasing Ordinance. <br /> 5.
