Total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons (TRPH) (Oil & Grease) by EPA Test Method <br />SW 1664A. <br /> <br />. TPH-diesel by EPA Test Method SW8015B-M. <br />. TPH-gasoline by EPA Test Method SW8015B-V. <br /> <br />. Benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Test Method SW8015B or <br />EPA Test Method SW8021A, with preparation by EPA Method SW5035. <br /> <br />. MTBE by EPA Test Method SW8260B. <br /> <br />. VOCs by EPA Test Method SW8260B. <br /> <br />Duplicate soil and groundwater grab samples will be collected and analyzed at a frequency of <br />approximately 10 percent for quality control purposes. Trip blanks will also be submitted to the <br />laboratory along with samples intended for TPH-g, BTEX, and MTBE analyses <br /> <br />Soil and Groundwater Investigation Report <br /> <br />Earth Tech will prepare a draft and final report for each site at the conclusion of the field <br />activities. The draft report will include a description of the work performed; tabular summaries of <br />data collected during the investigation, interpretations of the data, maps showing boring and <br />sampling locations, boring logs, laboratory analytical reports, and will also contain <br />recommendations for UST closures and future activities if warranted. <br /> <br />The draft report will be submitted to the City for review and comment. A final report will be <br />prepared, incorporating the City comments, and be submitted to the City and San Mateo County <br />for their use. <br /> <br />Project Management and Meetings <br /> <br />Earth Tech anticipates one meeting with the City of review the new data and one meeting with <br />the City and the County of San Mateo to discuss the investigation results and future course of <br />action at the three former UST sites. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE <br /> <br />Drilling permit application preparation, contracting, and subcontracting, and preparation of a <br />site-specific HASP will be initiated upon San Mateo County approval of the work plan and the <br />City's approval of this proposal. Depending on the permitting process, subcontracting <br />scheduling and availability, the soil and groundwater sampling will occur two to three weeks <br />following permit approval. The field program is expected to take approximately one week. <br />Laboratory analytical results will be available about two weeks after completion of the field work. <br />The draft report of findings will be submitted for review within approximately two weeks of <br />receipt of the analytical data. The total schedule is therefore, approximately 8 weeks. <br /> <br />ESTIMATED COST <br /> <br />The estimated cost to perform the scope of work presented above is $37,484 (see Exhibit 1). <br />
