?9CJ~~-~"'-\)O'+ AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER FOR SAFEY NET SERVICES THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 2005, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and City of Redwood City Fair Oaks Community Center, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W!INg§§gIH: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; and . WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City Fair Oaks Community Center applied for funding through the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and was recommended for funding by the Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) for inclusion in the FY 2005-06 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan. On May 3, 2005, the Board of Supervisors approved the City of Redwood City Fair Oaks Community Center for inclusion in the CDBG Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2005-06; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for the purpose of providing Safety Net Services; and WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement in the amount of $7,500.00 for the term of July 1, 2005 to June 30,2006.
