REV: 09-27-23 SK <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />The Consultant started right-of-way acquisition services in the Spring of 2023 after <br />beginning services in 2018 and pausing this work at the City’s request in 2020, given that <br />necessary mapping was unavailable then. The Consultant reevaluated the scope of work <br />based on approved mapping and additional parcel-specific knowledge gained since that <br />time and developed a plan to complete the work, which includes additional services – <br />labor hours and associated fees, and increased labor rates and associated fees – <br />described below. <br />Scope of Work <br />The Consultant will conduct the following revised and additional services. <br />Project Management – Expand efforts to reflect additional knowledge of the <br />property requirements and details, increase coordination with Caltrans, restart <br />right-of-way acquisition, and increase labor rates. <br />Appraisals – Expand efforts to reflect additional knowledge of the property <br />requirements and details, increase coordination with Caltrans, and increase labor <br />rates, and reduce total cost for appraisal services (reduction in total parcels from <br />27 to 23). <br />Right-of-Way Certification – Expand efforts to reflect additional knowledge of the <br />property requirements and details, increase coordination with Caltrans, and <br />increase labor rates. <br />Fee <br />City will pay Consultant on a time and materials basis, and the compensation for the <br />Scope of Work shall not exceed $68,808.75 as summarized below. Reductions for Pre- <br />Acquisition Services and Amendments Number 1 and 2 are shown to indicate these <br />activities are complete.
