<br />DES:djY 06/07/96 <br /> <br />(002/47) <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />amount <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />$390,000.00 <br /> <br />per <br /> <br />annum. <br /> <br />Said <br /> <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />payable monthly, in advance, in installments <br /> <br />0.00. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />first installment shall be paid on or before July 1, 1996 for the <br /> <br />period commencing July <br /> <br />1, <br /> <br />1996, <br /> <br />and each <br /> <br />installme t shall be <br /> <br />paid on or before the first day of each succeeding m nth of the <br /> <br />term hereof, <br /> <br />subject to <br /> <br />adjustment as <br /> <br />to amount in accordance <br /> <br />with paragraph 12 hereof. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION - SPECIAL SERVICES. <br /> <br />City shall compensate <br /> <br />Attorney for all Special Services described in paragra h 2 hereof <br /> <br />on an hourly basis at the rate of $120.00 per hour f r services <br /> <br />rendered by attorneys, <br /> <br />and at the rate of $60.00 p r hour for <br /> <br />services rendered by paralegals; subject, however, to adjustment <br /> <br />as to amount in accordance with paragraph 12 hereof. Compensation <br /> <br />for said Special Services shall be payable upon <br /> <br />g therefor <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />TERM, CONTINUATION. <br /> <br />The term of this agree <br /> <br /> <br />illing. <br /> <br />by Attorney, and shall be paid within 30 days of such <br /> <br />five <br /> <br />(5 ) <br /> <br />years, <br /> <br />commencing <br /> <br />upon <br /> <br />July <br /> <br />1, <br /> <br />1996. <br /> <br />In <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />event <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />parties have not, on or before July 1, 2001 entered <br /> <br />nto a new, <br /> <br />supplemental, or amended agreement, and have not term'nated this <br /> <br />effect; <br /> <br />provided, <br /> <br />that the monthly <br /> <br />installment of c mpensation <br /> <br /> <br />force and <br /> <br />agreement, <br /> <br />the provisions hereof shall remain in ful <br /> <br />for Basic Services and the hourly rate for Special Ser ices shall <br /> <br />be those in effect during the month next prior to <br /> <br />date; and <br /> <br />provided, <br /> <br />further, <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />term <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />shall be 3 months, renewable automatically for additio al 3-month <br /> <br />periods unless either party gives the other party wri ten notice <br /> <br />of termination not less than 3 months prior to the d te of such <br /> <br />termination. <br /> <br />7 <br />
