<br />FXS:d~~ 08/22/96R <br /> <br />(033/70) <br /> <br />,.. <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />A G R E E MEN T <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br />REDWOOD SHORES FIRE STATION AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this <br /> <br />~ 1 <br />V~~ ' 199~, by and be~een the CITY OF RED~OD <br /> <br /> <br />a muni i al corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />J:;~ day of <br /> <br />CITY, <br /> <br />("City") , <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />DES <br /> <br />ARCHITECTS <br /> <br />+ <br /> <br />ENGINEERS, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California ("Architect") ¡ <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />proposes <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />construct <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />Fire <br /> <br />Station <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Maintenance Facility at Redwood Shores <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City (the "Project") ¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br /> <br />professional architectural services¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Architect <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />possesses <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br /> <br />the project¡ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />ARCHITECT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Architect <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />engineering, design and related services as described in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION¡ EXPENSES¡ PAYMENT. <br /> <br />City shall compensate <br /> <br />Architect for all services performed <br /> <br />(Phases II through IV) <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />Archi tect hereunder in an amount based upon Architect's hourly <br /> <br />rates <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />currently <br /> <br />prevailing <br /> <br />during <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />time <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />performance of said services. <br /> <br />A copy of Architect's hourly rates <br /> <br />for which services hereunder shall be performed are set forth in <br />
