CGM:dp:3/9/79 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 8254 ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF APR 21979 <br />AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE PREPARATION OF A MASTER PLAN <br />FOR HOOVER SCHOOL PARK IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert landscape <br />architectural services for the preparation of a master plan for <br />Hoover School Park in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage a <br />landscape architect to perform such services including, but not <br />limited to, a preliminary site plan and cost estimate, a final <br />master plan and cost estimate, sketches, and a master plan report; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Singer & Hodges has represented to the City that it <br />is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all of the services <br />referred to aforesaid; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Singer & Hodges for <br />the performance of the aforesaid landscape architectural services, <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />contract and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for the Preparation <br />of a Master Plan for Hoover School Park in the City of Redwood <br />City," by and between the City of Redwood City and Singer & Hodges, <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is made for the full terms and <br />conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />i <br />
