Agreement with AirBNB to Collect and Remit Transient Occupancy Tax <br />(TOT) <br />Staff contact: Aaron Aknin, Assistant City Manager/Community Development Director <br />780-7293 aaknin@redwoodcity.org <br />Recommendation: <br />Authorize the City Manager to sign the attached Voluntary Collection <br />Agreement with Airbnb, which requires Airbnb, Inc. to collect and remit TOT <br />to the City of Redwood City <br />C. Award of Contract - 2017-2018 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project <br />Staff contact: Jeffrey Chou, Assistant Engineer II 780-7362 jchou@redwoocity.org <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract <br />documents and award the standard form construction contract 00520 for the <br />2017-2018 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project to the lowest responsible <br />bidder, Casey Construction Inc. of Emerald Hills, California, and waive any <br />irregularities, for their low bid of $4,488,680; and, authorize the City Manager <br />to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the original <br />contract amount, not to exceed $4,937,548; and confirm determination that <br />the project is exempt and meets California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in Section 15302 (Replacement or <br />Reconstruction) of the CEQA Regulations <br />D.
