06/11/2018 <br />Festival area not begin until 7:3 0 PM to allow vendors to complete their <br />breakdown and leave the area. <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Festival areas, and other <br />traffic diversion requirements as determined by the Police Department. The <br />PCA will work with the Police Department and Public Works to provide a list <br />of times, locations, and quantity of barricades needed for the Festival area. <br />Request through the County CIES the use of the steel pedestrian barriers for <br />traffic control and participant safety. The PCA will provide a list of times, <br />locations, and quantity of barriers needed for the Festival area. <br />Approval of Alcoholic Beverage Control Form ABC -221 to allow PCA to <br />obtain a permit for the sale of beer and wine. <br />Notify businesses that sell alcoholic beverages in the downtown area of their <br />responsibility to comply with the conditions of their ABC permits. <br />Provide electrical connections from street lighting outlets on Theatre Way <br />from 5:00 pm July 3rd to 7:00 pm July 4th to support Festival operations and <br />on Broadway from Middlefield to Jefferson on July 4th from 7:00 am to 7:00 <br />pm to support the Children's entertainment stage and vendor booths. <br />We appreciate the cooperation and goodwill extended by the City of Redwood City to the <br />Peninsula Celebration Association. The mutual coordination of this annual event benefits <br />the entire Redwood City Community. As in previous years, it is our understanding that <br />the above requested and other City Services will be provided at no cost or obligation to <br />the Peninsula Celebration Association. <br />20184 th of July Fireworks <br />Port of Redwood City <br />Event Summary <br />The City of Redwood Cit is requesting temporary use of the Port of Redwood City <br />facilities to host the 2018 4 h of July Fireworks Spectacular. The City is continuing to take <br />the lead this year with: obtaining major corporate sponsors to pay for a 20 minute high <br />aerial show; providing onsite entertainment for spectators prior to the show; providing <br />public notification; and managing security, police services, and any necessary permitting. <br />Fireworks DisDlav Details: <br />The display will be conducted by a licensed fireworks vendor and will be launched from <br />the Port's concrete Wharf #4. This is the same location that the City's Fire Marshal, <br />Parks/Rec. Director, Port Staff, Port Commission and the pyro-technician have agreed <br />upon in the past.
