4220 <br />2. Comorehensive General Liabilitv Policv: Automobile Liabilitv Policv: Pollution <br />4221 <br />Liabilitv Policv: and Hazardous Materials Policv. <br />4222 <br />(a) "Thirty (30) Days prior written notice shall be given to the City of Redwood <br />4223 <br />City in the event of cancellation, reduction of coverage, or non -renewal of <br />4224 <br />this policy." Such notice shall be sent to: <br />4225 <br />City of Redwood City <br />4226 <br />Public Works Services Department <br />4227 <br />1400 Broadway <br />4228 <br />Redwood City, California, 94063 <br />4229 <br />Attention: Public Works Services Director <br />4230 <br />(b) `The City of Redwood City, its officers, employees, and agents are additional <br />4231 <br />insureds on this policy." <br />4232 <br />(c) "This policy shall be considered primary insurance as respects any other <br />4233 <br />valid and collectible insurance maintained by the City of Redwood City, <br />4234 <br />including any self-insured retention or program of self-insurance, and any <br />4235 <br />other such insurance shall be considered excess insurance only." <br />4236 <br />(d) "Inclusion of the City of Redwood City as an insured shall not affect the City <br />4237 <br />of Redwood City's rights as respects any claim, demand, suit or judgment <br />4238 <br />brought or recovered against the Contractor. This policy shall protect <br />4239 <br />Contractor and the (City of Redwood City in the same manner as though a <br />4240 <br />separate policy had been issued to each, but this shall not operate to <br />4241 <br />increase the company's liability as set forth in the policy beyond the amount <br />4242 <br />shown or to which the company would have been liable if only one party had <br />4243 <br />been named as an insured." <br />4244 <br />D. Deductibles and Self -Insured Retentions. The liability policies described in <br />4245 <br />Sections 13.02.A(2) and 13.02.A(3) may contain a deductible or self-insured <br />4246 <br />retention not to exceed $500,000 per occurrence. This amount may not be <br />4247 <br />increased without Agency's prior written consent. <br />4248 <br />Contractor remains responsible for the payment of all losses and investigation, <br />4249 <br />claim administration and defense expenses, including those of the Agency. <br />4250 <br />E. Delivery of Proof of Coverage. No later than ninety (90) Days before the <br />4251 <br />commencement of operations, Contractor shall furnish Agency one or more <br />4252 <br />certificates of insurance on a standard ACORD form substantiating that each of the <br />4253 <br />coverages required hereunder is in force, in form and substance satisfactory to <br />4254 <br />Agency. Such certificates shall show the type and amount of coverage, effective <br />4255 <br />dates and dates of expiration of policies and shall be accompanied by all required <br />4256 <br />endorsements. If Agency requests, copies of each policy, together with all <br />4257 <br />endorsements, shall also be promptly delivered to Agency. Contractor shall furnish <br />4258 <br />renewal certificates to Agency to demonstrate maintenance of the required <br />4259 <br />coverages throughout the Term. <br />4260 <br />F. Other Insurance Reauirements <br />4261 1.
