Resolution calling the November 6, 2018 Election for three City Council vacancies and any measures submitted by the City Council to the voters; Resolution requesting the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to consolidate said election with the Consolidated Municipal, School and Special District Election and authorize the City Clerk to execute County Services agreement; Resolution adopting regulations for candidates for elective office pertaining to candidate statements submitted to the voters; and, by motion, requiring candidates to pay for the candidate statement costs Staff contact: Pamela Aguilar, City Clerk 780-7222 paguilar@redwoodcity.org Recommendation: Adopt resolutions related to the General Municipal Election of November 6, 2018 as follows: 1. Resolution calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election on November 6, 2018 for the election of three municipal officers and any measures submitted by the City Council to the voters as required by the City's Charter and the laws of the State of California; 2. Resolution requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to Consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, with the Consolidated Municipal, School and Special District Election; requesting the County of San Mateo to render specified services to City; and authorizing the City Clerk to execute a contract with the County for such services;
