EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />CONSULTANT shall provide professional civil and transportation engineering services <br />to assist the City's Community Development Department with transportation projects on <br />an as -needed basis. <br />The scope of services includes, but is not limited to the following potential activities: <br />• Hopkins Traffic Calming Project — completion of conceptual design <br />• Kennedy Safe Routes to School Project — completion of project plans, <br />specifications, and estimates (PS&E); bid support; construction support <br />• Whipple Avenue (@ Iris Street) Pedestrian Improvements — completion of project <br />plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E); bid support; construction support <br />• Evaluate, design, and draft work orders for modifications at identified locations <br />• Develop conceptual design for neighborhood and/or corridor traffic calming <br />projects <br />• Manage various small transportation planning and engineering projects <br />TIME SCHEDULE <br />The schedule for the work shall be on an as -needed basis. Upon request by the CITY, <br />CONSULTANT shall prepare a specific task order outlining the CONSULTANT roles <br />and responsibilities for the identified task as well as the task budget within one (1) week <br />of the request. Concurrence between the CITY and CONSULTANT on the task activity <br />(ies) and budget shall be memorialized via email or letter prior to CONSULTANT <br />starting work on the task. <br />PAYMENT TERMS <br />CONSULTANT shall charge the standard hourly rates for services as listed in the fee <br />schedule below.
