The production log will be created that will detail: the number of items prepared, any <br /> discrepancies on the film , or areas of the microfilm that could cause problems during <br /> scanning, and any other items of significance that need to be notated. <br /> Raycom will notify the City immediately if any missing microfilm film sequence, or if <br /> preservation treatment will be required. <br /> Scanning for Microfilm <br /> Make and Model of Raycom Microfilm Scanners : <br /> Sunrise 2000 Roll Film Scanners <br /> Spec: 100 dpi to 600 dpi, 16 mm & 35mm, 300 frames per minute @100 to 300 dpi 178 <br /> frames per minute @600dpi. Full fiche Imaging process and gray scale output. Supports <br /> Tiffs, Cats, Jpeg, Bmp, and PDF. G3 & 04 compression, Black & White, Bitonal and <br /> Greyscale output. Utilizing RDIS Document Imaging Software & OCR Capture utility. <br /> Kodak DS Intelligent Microimage Scanners <br /> Spec: 16mm roll film scanner, 200 dpi to 500 dpi enhances scanning. ANSI and/or M- <br /> Type cartridges capabilities. Average scanning Rate of 1 ,200 images per hour. <br /> Supports Tiffs, Cats, Jpeg, Bmp, And PDF. G3 & G4 compression, Black & White, <br /> Bitonal, and Greyscale output. Utilizing RDIS Document Imaging Software <br /> Raycom scanning operator(s) will set the required settings at minimum 300 to 600 dpi, <br /> Black border removal, DE speckle, DE skew, black & white (Bi-tonal) and/or greyscale, <br /> and multiage or single page Tiff to the City specifications. Settings will be applied to split <br /> between changes into a new multipage file during the scanning. <br /> A header page will be inserted at the beginning of a record if there are poor quality <br /> images contained in the file. If a record has no pages, a disclaimer stating thus will be <br /> inserted. If required the images will be rotated for readability and blank pages will be <br /> removed . <br /> A log with a list of Batches for verification of the number of images, image quality and <br /> identification file names will be created. Each batch will consist of an average of 500 <br /> images on a continuous scanning process. The number of images scanned will be <br /> verified against the number of items prepared for scanning. <br /> Indexing of Microfilm <br /> Raycom Index operator will record on the index log sheet how many images are <br /> indexed and how many indexes are created . All images will be indexed by each <br /> individual Case Number. <br /> The index will be verified by the index page separator by the Raycom index operator. <br /> RDIS software allows operator to automatically enter the index fields, with little or no <br /> manual entry and to verify what was entered against the microfiche. <br /> Quality Control <br /> REV: 06-19-18 PR <br /> Page 17 of 23 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2018. 132/Raycom Data Technologies, Inc. <br />
