EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Permitting, Bid/Negotiation, and Construction Administration Phases for Phase I, <br />Joint Redwood City/YMCA Project - Veterans Memorial Building and Traffic Calming <br />Solutions. <br />A. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES <br />ELS Architecture and Urban Design ("Consultant' or ELS") shall perform the services set <br />forth in this Exhibit A. These services can be generally summarized for convenience into <br />two categories: <br />1. Provide Permit, Bid/Negotiation assistance, and Construction Administration services <br />for scope of work defined as "Phase I" Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center, East <br />Parking Area, and Promenade as provided in Exhibit AAA, attached hereto and <br />incorporated by reference; and <br />2. Provide Permit Phase, Bid/Negotiation Phase assistance, and Construction <br />Administration services for scope of work defined as "Phase I" Traffic Calming <br />Improvements as provided in Revised Exhibit GG, attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference. <br />B. ASSISTANCE WITH BID PACKAGES <br />Construction Administration by ELS includes assistance with the following bid packages, as <br />provided in Exhibit AAA <br />• Bid Package 1: Building and Site Improvements for the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior <br />Center, Promenade and East Parking area. <br />• Bid Package 1a: Exhibits for Veterans and NFL Alumni of Northern California <br />• Bid Package 1b: Furnishings <br />• Bid Package 2: Traffic Calming Measures as described in Revised Exhibit B <br />C. PRELIMINARY POST -DESIGN SCHEDULE <br />The following represents a preliminary schedule for the Permitting, Bid/Negotiation, and <br />Construction Administration Phases.
