1. City shall provide a geotechnical report and utility, property and topographic surveys of the <br />project site, upon which ELS will rely. <br />2 Services related to identification or removal of hazardous materials is excluded. <br />3. Hourly billing rates are subject to revision on January 1, 2021 and 2022 in accordance with <br />cost of living adjustments. Revisions to hourly rates will require a further amendment. <br />F. ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />Certain items of work are not included in this amendment but can be performed as <br />additional services if required, subject to executing a further amendment. These items <br />include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: <br />1. Providing out-of-town travel in addition to that specified. <br />2. Providing professional renderings or models, and ELS effort required to coordinate <br />with special rendering for model -making consultants. <br />3. Building code variances or modifications, if required, will be provided as an additional <br />service. <br />4. Preparing Project Record Drawings, As -Built Drawings, and/or As -Built BIM documentation. <br />ELS will include updates to the BIM as part of the Bulletin process. <br />5. Design and engineering of any new gas service by PG&E or other gas utility. <br />6. Design and engineering for relocation of the high voltage power lines, including the <br />undergrounding of such utilities and/or related design and engineering for shared and <br />joint trenches for such utilities. <br />G. SUSPENSION/EXTENSION/COMPLETION <br />If the project is suspended for more than three months, fees could be subject to renegotiation <br />to consider the additional cost of working in a later time period. Basic services end at the <br />completion of the construction period, which is assumed to be two years, maximum. Effort <br />beyond a maximum two-year construction period could be subject to additional services <br />H. EXCLUSIONS <br />The following items of work are excluded: <br />1. Removal of hazardous materials. <br />2. Site, boundary, utility and topographic survey. <br />3. Geotechnical analysis and soils report. <br />4.
