1. Reduces manpower requirements for meter reading. <br /> · Drive by radio permits 5,000 reads per hour. <br /> 2. Improves meter reading accuracy. <br /> · Every radio read is a perfect read. <br /> · Eliminate misreads and rereads. <br /> · Improving customer service by eliminating billing errors caused by <br /> misreads. <br /> <br /> 3. Reduces the risk of catastrophic injuries to meter readers. <br /> Reduce risk of employee injuries associated with long periods of <br /> walking and contact with poison oak. <br /> · Heavy lids do not have to be lifted, reducing back injuries. <br /> · Injuries associated with animals (spider, dog bites, bees ) are <br /> eliminated. <br /> · Deep meter pits and vaults do not have to be entered in order to read <br /> meters. <br /> <br /> 4.
