My neighborhood is very
disjointed, where most people leave early in the morning for work, get home late at night from
work, and don't interact with their neighbors on the weekends b/c they are too busy.

Providing a clean, safe place for people to live--more green space or at least more
trees/vegetation. I don't what was done to the trees along Woodside Road this past Fall, but they
look awful. I would also like the city to look @ consistency of speed limits throughout the city.
Some places that are busier have lower speed (e.g. Broadway and parts of Whipple are 25 mph)
limits than residential areas (e.g. Virginia Ave is 30 mph).

I would say giving fair representation to Teenagers in my community.

Creating a safe, healthy, creative environment where my students can be successful
academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.

I would like to see a well-run dog park. There is certainly a small piece of land somewhere in this
area that could be used if it were higher priority. I see it as an investment in the well-being of
those who have the many dogs in Redwood City and a contribution to the quality of life here. Most
dog owners would not want to live without their wonderful companion canine, but there is a great
resistance to incorporate this idea into the planning of the city. This is unfortunate, since having a
pet is recognized by many as one of the most valuable contributions to the well-being and quality
of life of elder citizens. Why is it so low priority to have an accessible place to enjoy congregating
and socializing while letting our pets exercise safely!

Having our schools become the best they can be.

Developing a sense of community 52 weeks a year and not just during a crisis. The residents on
the block I live on are very resistant to coming out of their shells. It is most frustrating.

I would like to see less central planning and a less activist city council.

It's a great place to bring up children, even if the schools don't enjoy the same reputation as
those of neighboring cities. I'm optimistic things will get better.

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled] .

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled]

[Disabled}

[Disabled} ,

Making Redwood City a safer community. I strongly feel that safety will lead to a greater sense of [Disabled]
community pride.

Diverse cultures

The library and its contents.

the social development and opportunities for children

.
