(GEl) has developed this proposal to implement the <br />July 21,2005 work plan entitled Conduit Study Results and Work Plan for Subsurface <br />Investigation, City of Redwood City Parking Lot Between 2053 and 2065 Broadway, <br />Redwood City, California. The Work Plan was prepared by GEl on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City (City) to address requirements of the San Mateo County Health Services <br />Agency, Groundwater Protection Program (SMCoGPP). SMCoGPP approved the Work Plan <br />in a letter to the City dated November 16,2005 with certain conditions, which are <br />incorporated in GEl's proposal. Project tasks, schedule and costs are detailed below. <br /> <br />Task 1. Pre-Field Activities <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Procure a subsurface drilling pennit from SMCoGPP. Prepare a health and safety <br />plan for the planned on-site activities. Schedule and coordinate the investigation <br />activities with City. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Procure an access agreement from the Owner of 2065 Broadway Street to complete <br />one (1) soil boring (GEI-Bl) on the east side of the 2065 Broadway Building adjacent <br />to the City parking lot. Schedule and coordinate the investigation activities with the <br />Owner. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Perfonn additional utilities research in the site vicinity. Mark the proposed boring <br />and well locations. Complete utility clearance. <br />
