AGREEMENT FOR DELEGATION OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (Historic Courthouse Restoration) THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of July ~ 2002, by and between the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("Agency"), a public body, corporate and politic, and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("City"), a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California. RECITALS A. On April 8, 2002, the Agency appropriated moneys to assist in the restoration of the San Mateo County Historic Courthouse (the "Courthouse" located in the City of Redwood City Downtown Project Area; and B. It has now become necessary to contract for architectural services related to the restoration process; and C. The City has project management experience in working with architects and contractors as well as in setting design standards and bidding procedures; and D. The Agency has requested and the City has agreed to serve as lead agency for the Courthouse restoration on behalf of the Agency NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1. City Obli.qations. The City will serve as lead agency for the Courthouse restoration on behalf of Agency 2. Agency Obli.qations. With regard to the Courthouse restoration, Agency delegates to City the authority to serve as lead agency, to enter into agreements on the Agency's behalf and to expend appropriated Agency funds. 3. Term. The term of this Agreement will commence upon the date first hereinabove written and shall expire upon completion of the Courthouse restoration. 4. Accountin.q Records. City will maintain complete and accurate records with respect to costs incurred under this Agreement on behalf of Agency. 5. Termination.
