<br />Result Highlights - Community Schools <br /> <br />Based on regression analysis done by JGC - Youth Data Archives, which <br />compares like students district-wide with students receiving family <br />support services (mental health), services are correlated with a greater <br />test score improvement in English. In math there is also a positive <br />relationship, but it is not statistically significant. <br /> <br />- Teachers stated that counseling services improved learning skills, task <br />completion and frustration tolerance. <br /> <br />Parent participation increased dramatically over the past few years, <br />from 1689 parent participation occurrences in 2001-02, 1966 <br />participation occurrences in 2002-03, 3607 in 2003-04 to 5434 in the <br />2004-05 school year. <br /> <br />Parents in leadership positions increased from approximately 300 in <br />2002 -2003 to 720 in 2004 -2005. <br />
