6.5A Page 31 The Animal Control &holtor Program shall keep a record of all animals impounded, which record shall include a description of the animal, the date of its receipt, the date and manner of disposal, the name of the person redeeming or purchasing, and the fees and charges and proceeds of sales received on account thereof, and such additional matters as may be necessary and incidental to implementing this ordinance. Said records shall be kept for fWe four years." SECTION 15. Section 6.04.180 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "6.04.180. Redemption. Except as otherwise provided by this ordinance or by any other law, the owner or person entitled to the control or custody of any animal impounded may, at any time before the sale or other disposition thereof, redeem the same by paying all proper fees assessed by tAe Animal Control Services. Animal Control progr3m Services shall issue to the owner duplicate receipts for the amount of the fee paid." SECTION 16. revoked. Section 6.04.190 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby SECTION 17. That the City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this Ordinance word by word, sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph, and section by section, and does hereby declare that any provisions of this Ordinance are severable and, if for any reason any word, sentence, paragraph or section of this Ordinance shall be held invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining parts of this Ordinance.
