MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />July 23. 2018 <br />MO. 18-127 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: July 24, 2018 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - Rule 20 Middlefield Road Phase 1 Underground <br />Utility District Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1D (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on July 23, 2018. <br />Present: Council Members, Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Seybert, and Mayor Bain <br />M/S Masur/Bain to approve the remainder of the Consent Calendar. <br />By motion, to approve the contract documents and award the standard form construction <br />contract (Section 00520) for the Rule 20 Middlefield Road Phase 1 Underground Utility <br />District Project to Seton Pacific Construction Corporation of San Francisco, California, for <br />their responsive low bid of $7,625,314, and authorize the City Manager to increase the <br />contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% above the contract amount, and find that the project <br />is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CECA) under <br />CEQA Guidelines Section 15302 (Replacement or Reconstruction). <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
