Division 9 of Chapter 20, Article VII is hereby amended in its entirety to read <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />DIVISION 9. REGULATED, UN METERED OFF-STREET PARKING <br />FACILITIES <br /> <br />Sec. 20.184. REGULATED, UNMETERED OFF-STREET PARKING <br />FACILITIES DESIGNATED: The following off-street parking facilities, <br />owned or operated by the City, are hereby designated as regulated, <br />unmetered off-street parking facilities: <br /> <br />A. Police Department Parking Lot, located at the front, unenclosed area, of <br />the Police Department building, 1301 Maple Street. <br /> <br />B. Municipal Services Center Parking Lot, 1300 Broadway. <br /> <br />C. Library Parking Lot "C," located directly behind and southerly of the <br />Main Library branch, 1044 Middlefield Road. <br /> <br />The City Manager shall cause parking spaces to be designated and shall <br />cause appropriate signs to be posted, and markings to be made, in all <br />regulated, unmetered off-street parking facilities designated in this <br />Section. <br /> <br />Sec. 20.185. PERMITS ISSUED: The City Manager is hereby authorized <br />to issue parking permits for use in regulated unmetered off-street parking <br />facilities in accordance with such rates and regulations as shall be <br />established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br />The parking facility permit may consist of a windshield card or may be in <br />such other form as the City Manager may prescribe. <br /> <br />Sec. 20.186. PERMIT OR CITY IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED: <br />A. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any vehicle to occupy or <br />remain in any space in the Police Department Parking Lot for more than <br />one hour, except on Sundays and holidays, when signs are erected giving <br />notice thereof, unless such vehicle displays a valid parking permit or said <br />vehicle bears distinctive markings, or logo, or sign (collectively, "City <br />identification") identifying said vehicle as City-owned or as an otherwise <br />duly designated City vehicle. <br /> <br />Atty/OrdlOrd.242 <br />07/20105 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />2287 <br />Muff # 405 <br />
