<br />12/5/2005 <br /> <br />parking as otherwise required in this Article, if an adequate number of spaces are made <br />available to each commercial tenant and customer, according to differing hours of <br />usage during the day, and subject to the approval of the Zoning Administrator upon <br />application submitted in the manner provided by Section 30.4. The Zoning <br />Administrator may require the applicant to provide a report evaluating the parking <br />requirements of each use and peak parking demand times, using established shared <br />parking methodologies, such as those used by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) or the <br />Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), prior to action on the application." <br /> <br />Sec. 30.5 A is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Sec. 30.5 Size and Spaces. <br /> <br />Standard Spaces: A standard parking space shall have a minimum width <br />of not less than eight and one-half (8-1/2) feet and minimum length of not <br />less than eighteen (18) feet. <br /> <br />Existing Sections 30.5 B (Compact Spaces) and 30.5 C (Private Employee <br />Parking Lot Option) are hereby deleted. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />A new Section 30.5 B is hereby added to read as follows: <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Garage and Carport Sizes: <br />1. A standard enclosed two (2) car garage shall be a minimum of <br />nineteen (19) feet wide by twenty and one-half (20-1/2) feet deep in <br />the clear interior dimension. A standard enclosed one (1) car <br />garage shall be a minimum of ten (10) feet wide by twenty and one- <br />half (20-1/2) feet deep in the clear interior dimension. <br />A carport shall provide for the required parking space(s) clear of <br />any obstructions, subject to the additional spacing requirements <br />outlined in Subsection (3) below. <br />No required off-street parking space shall be situated within one (1) <br />foot of any wall or vertical obstruction above curb height. Structural <br />columns between adjacent parking spaces are excluded from this <br />requirement when such columns are located at least three (3) feet, <br />but not more than five (5) feet, from either or both ends of the <br />respective parking spaces." <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Section 30.5 E is hereby deleted. <br /> <br />Sections 30.5 D and 30.5 F to 30.5 I are renumbered to 30.5 C to 30.5 G. <br /> <br />Section 30.6 A 1 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Atty/Ord/Ord.243 <br />111505 <br /> <br />1130-336 <br /> <br />12 <br />
