For lots less than fifty (50) feet in width, however, a <br />maximum paved area of twenty (20) feet in width for a driveway and parking (from the <br />road to the front setback line) is permitted within the front yard. Area devoted to public <br />sidewalks shall not be included in the calculations." <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That Article 5 (R-1 [Residential - Single-Family] District) of the Redwood <br />City Zoning Code is hereby amended to add new Sections 5.11 and 5.12, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />"Sec. 5.11 Minimum Pervious Area and Stormwater Requirements. A <br />minimum of forty percent (40%) of each lot shall be pervious area, to be composed of <br />landscaping, vegetated open space, or permeable paving materials, consistent with the <br />provisions of Section 32.12 of the Zoning Ordinance, as that section may be amended <br />from time to time.
