ATTACHMENT A
Kennedy/Jenks Consultants
PHASE 2 Scope of Work
Long Term Strategic Recycled Water Planning (CIP #9232)
Potable Reuse Exploratory Plan (PREP)
Phase 2 — PREP Concept Study
Phase 2 for the Potable Reuse Exploratory Plan (PREP), herein referred to as the PREP Reservoir
Augmentation Concept Study (PREP Concept Study) will support the understanding the potential
institutional, technical and environmental issues associated with exploring Reservoir
Augmentation in Crystal Springs Reservoir (CSR). This work will build off the Phase 1 PREP Initial
Study to further define the project and consider institutional issues. Seven (7) tasks are
proposed based on input from the PREP parties. A summary of the budget for each task is
provided in Table 1. Table 2 describes the work and assumptions associated with each subtask,
and the anticipated outcomes. Table 3 provides a summary of budget by subtask. A detailed fee
sheet is also attached.
The concept -level fee is based on expanding the Phase 1 work to address the questions and
issues posed by the PREP Parties at a conceptual -level. This work does not delve into detailed
quantitative evaluations in most cases.
Table 1: Task Budget
PREP Phase2 SOW AIITasks Final 03072018
Page 1
REV: 03-21-18 MI
ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 1/Potable Reuse Exploratory Plan MOU
Total
Total
SUB E1t, Expanses
Est
Total KJ
Paul (ksl sub
Tasks
Hours
Labor
Brown _ mork4Q
Task 1: Defining the Project
175
$32,286
$0 r $14
Task 2: Institutional Issues
28
$6,612
$12,W0 ! $1,386
Task 3: Costs and Funding Opportunities
84
$16,286
$3,000 16 $714
( Task 4: Schedule and Next Steps Scope
10
$1,932
$0 OW qqrr
Task 5: Reports
175
$32,022
$2,000 $978
I Task 6: Project Management and QA/QC
85``17,602
$0 ( $398
Task 7: Meetings
44
$9,472
$3,000 $2,528
Task 6: Project Management and QA/QC
601
$116,212
$24000 $6,788
PREP Phase2 SOW AIITasks Final 03072018
Page 1
REV: 03-21-18 MI
ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 1/Potable Reuse Exploratory Plan MOU
