Fiscal Year 2004/05 Financial Reports <br />Recommendation: <br />The Audit Committee members have independently reviewed the City's FY <br />2004/05 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, the independent auditors' <br />recommendations to management and staff's responses thereto, the <br />Redevelopment Agency's Basic Financial Statements and independent auditors' <br />reports, and the staff report prepared by the Director of Finance and recommend <br />that the City Council and Redevelopment Agency Board acknowledge acceptance <br />of these reports and documents. (503) MINUTE ORDER 06 -05 <br />G. Redwood Shores Lagoon — Aquatic Plant Management and Environmental <br />Engineering Services <br />Vice Mayor Foust thanked PWS Director Peter Ingram and Superintendent Marilyn <br />Harang stated the importance of this topic. <br />Recommendation: <br />By Motion, authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the <br />Agreement with Waterworks Industries, Inc., Windsor, California, for the not -to- <br />exceed amount of $198,782.50 to continue professional aquatic plant <br />management and environmental engineering services for the Redwood Shores <br />Lagoon for one year to December 31, 2006. (304) MINUTE ORDER 06 -06 <br />H. Approval to Join the Joint Powers Agreement known as the Bay Area Employee <br />Relations Services ( BAERS) <br />Council Member Howard thanked HR Director Bell for bringing forward this JPA <br />for consideration toward cost savings in the future. <br />Recommendation: <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute the Joint Powers Agreement to join BAERS <br />as a member effective 2/1/06. Amendment to a Community Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") agreement <br />between City of Redwood City ( "City ") and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing <br />Services ( "MCFH ") <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve the amendment to an existing CDBG agreement between the City and <br />MCFH which assigns that agreement to Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity <br />( "ECHO ").
