6.1.H. - Page 3 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO EXTEND <br />THE AMENDED AND RESTATED AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />(CDM SMITH, INC.) <br />This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br />2018, extending the Amended and Restated Agreement for <br />Professional Services dated April 1, 2016 (the "Agreement") by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), <br />and CDM Smith, Inc., a California corporation ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On April 1, 2016, the Parties executed an Amended and Restated Agreement <br />for Professional Services, and <br />B. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement for a period of two years; and <br />C. This Amendment is intended to memorialize the agreement of the Parties to <br />continue the services set forth in the Agreement; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br />1. The Agreement is hereby extended for a period of two years ending on <br />March 31, 2020. <br />2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br />time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by the Consultant <br />pursuant to the Agreement shall include coverage for this Amendment. <br />4.
