6.1.1. - Page 1
REPORT
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council
From the City Manager
August 27, 2018
SUBJECT
Amendment to Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement for the site
improvements for Stanford Health Care at 420-460 Broadway.
RECOMMENDATION
By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the second amendment
to Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement with Stanford Health Care
BACKGROUND
On November 28, 2016 the City Council approved the first amendment to the
Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement for the Development at 420-
460 Broadway Project (Stanford Health Care Clinic) for the construction of 216,254
square foot garage and exterior improvements. The Construction Permit, approved and
issued by the City, required the developer to make on-site improvements.
During the construction of the development some of the improvements were modified to
address grading issues discovered during the construction activities. The project
requested modifications to the onsite drainage system which altered the drainage
system to function differently than what was previously approved. The attached
stormwater treatment measures maintenance agreement reflects those changes.
ANALYSIS
The developer, Stanford Health Care, has completed the construction of improvements
in accordance with the Construction Permit, the plans and specifications, the conditions
of approval and tentative map, and to the satisfaction of the City's Engineering and
Transportation Division.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may choose not to accept the amended agreement. However, this
would not be consistent with the revised improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City as a result of this action.
