6.1.J. - Page 4 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, City of Redwood City determined that the Alameda De Las <br />Pulgas Sidewalk Improvement Project meets the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, ("Existing <br />Facilities") of the CEQA regulations. Furthermore, this project was designed <br />compliant with the City's Engineering Standards and accepted practices. A Notice of <br />Exemption has been filed with the office of San Mateo County in August 2018. <br />Furthermore, this project has been designed compliant with the City's Engineering <br />Standards and currently accepted practices. <br />This project does not require a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System <br />(NPDES) General Permit for stormwater discharges associated with construction and <br />land disturbance activities pursuant to Attachment A.2 of Order No. R2-2015-0049, <br />NPDES Permit No. CAS612008, which exempts projects to update existing lines and <br />facilities.
